Delete your data

You can delete your BoostLand data at any time. This page explains how. No login is required to read these instructions.

Option 1 — in the app

Participants (you linked your Instagram to take part in analytics):

1. Open BoostLand in Telegram and go to your participant area.
2. Open Linked accounts (the chain icon), then Instagram.
3. Choose “Unlink Instagram profile and delete data” and confirm.
4. Your Instagram name and ID are deleted immediately and irreversibly. You can link again at any time.

Channel owners (you connected your own Instagram Business account):

1. Open BoostLand and go to Create → Connected accounts.
2. Open your connected Instagram account and choose “Disconnect account”.
3. This stops active contests, pauses data sync, and deletes your connected Instagram account data.

Option 2 — request by email

Email support@boostland.app with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include your Telegram username (and the connected Instagram username, if any). Because anyone can see a public username, we will confirm that you control the account before deleting anything — for example, by asking you to confirm from the linked Telegram account, or to send a confirmation message from the Instagram account in question. If you only messaged our Instagram account (for example, to verify an account) and do not have a BoostLand account, email us with your Instagram username and we will delete the message content and any identifiers we received from you.

What we delete

When you unlink Instagram or delete your account, we immediately and irreversibly delete your name, your Instagram user ID and username, and the link between your Telegram and Instagram identities, together with the verification messages we received on our own Instagram account, along with any usage or server-log data still associated with your account.

Engagement analytics are stored only as aggregated counts tied to an irreversible pseudonymous identifier, with no Instagram username or ID attached, so they cannot be traced back to you; these de-identified counts are not deleted.

Timeline

When you unlink or delete in the app, your identifying data is deleted immediately and irreversibly. Requests sent by email are completed without undue delay after we verify them. Once deletion is complete, we will confirm to you by email or in-app that your request has been fulfilled.

Copies may persist briefly in secure encrypted backups, which are overwritten on a routine cycle. We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it (for example, accounting or fraud-prevention records), only for as long as required.
